Discussion was whether to reconvene the caucus or how to move forward without a clerk. How to appoint, run an ad, partner with neighboring towns were among the options. It is hard to determine the number of hours involved, as it depends on what needs to be done. Sometimes there is a lot and through the summer time the load is lighter. It was decided to reconvene Saturday the 21stof January. We will see if someone will be interested. If we hire the pay will probably go up. Would we consider paying by the hour versus salary.
Clerk Geissler asked that all candidates report to the front table to fill out nomination papers. Al Goettl moved to adjourn. David Goettl seconded. Only ayes heard in the voice vote. Caucus adjourned at 2:50 pm.
